Three at Twelve: The Open Begins in a Dead Heat
Steampunk did what Steampunk courses do — it offered up brass-bright fairways and clockwork greens, and then watched three players fire identical 24s anyway. Rambidextrous, The bandit, and Brendo share the day’s best round at twelve under, a three-way tie so neat the Bugle suspects the universe typed it up itself.
Barnyard sits just a shot back at eleven under, which is quietly the best round of anyone not standing in the leader’s logjam. One round down in the Open, eight to go, and already the top of the page looks like someone copy-pasted excellence.

Down the Field
●Barnyard shot 25 for eleven under — the day's finest round outside that crowded top step, and a lovely start.
▲CathGolfs climbed five places to eleventh, the kind of steady opening day that builds quietly.
☀Fabreeze turned up, swung free, and anchored the field with a cheerful 37. We are genuinely glad you're here.
